Cry havoc, and let lose the dogs of war...
"Take every day, and make it yours." A quote from one of the survivors trapped underneath the debris of the World Trade Center, trying to raise the spirit of a nation. We still have no idea what will happen tomorrow, what exactly happened today, or what is next. The forth hi-jacked flight, that crashed south of Pittsburgh, was NOT shot down by US planes. Someone on board, managed to call his wife, and this quote should explain what exactly happened to that flight, "We are going to try to take the plane, but we will probably crash it. I love you." All day I have been thinking how unreal this seems, until about twenty minutes ago, when a businessman here in Tucson told us a story. He lives in Boston, and travels to the west coast very often on business. Not having been here long enough to adjust to our time zone, he awoke at 4AM and started watching TV. After the movie he watched was finished, he turned to CNN, where he first learned of the horrific event. He KNEW today, that his friend, Brian, would be flying today from Boston to Los Angeles. Immediately he called his friend, and ended up leaving a voice message. Frantically he called other friends and relatives in the area, until finally he got through to Brain's assistant. She had looked earlier that day, and saw that he WAS NOT on the American flight. Relived, he calmed down, and continued watching the news. Five minutes later, his fiancé called him, and says it has been confirmed that Brian WAS on the United flight that was second to collide. All day, he has been forced to watch that plane crash into the First Tower, knowing that his friend was on board that flight. Brain's wife, a second grade teacher, who just finished a vacation to New York, is also being forced to watch this event, over and over on TV. Without a doubt, for the rest of my life, this footage will be replayed. I wanted everyone to think about Brian, and everyone else, every time they see that plane hit the trade tower, I know I will...
