Vampyre Angel (Savors)

she savors the flavors of my body
under midnight’s sky so vast
lost in its’ tremendous space
intangible
yet steadfast
and as she lingers in my taste
truly so deviant and yet
so full of her God's grace
she wears the dusk
and twilight like cloaks
covered in his earth
and in the power they invoke
giving men their birth
upon her head the crown of men
carved from the moon of the dead
it will forever rest
so gently on her head
and through hot nights in bed
she astonishes as she gazes upwards
rising under her Gods' falling tears
blind to our oblivion
and maybe a little taken by our fears
she revels in our decimation
and takes sorrow in our torture
she loves us like the only one
she is our a loving sorcerer
as the sun’s rays rise so slowly
shattering the night like brittle glass
she stares silently at the patterns
of lights the sun so wonderfully cast
she tries to keep herself from falling
falling into the sky
she tries to keep
her life from passing her right by
she is doubtful she will see such magic
in the midnight’s sky again
she realizes the frightening power
that stalks beneath her skin
knowing it will destroy the one
that she holds so dear
she goes on blind to the oblivion
underneath her God’s fallings tears

Take me home
