The Angel with Six Wings (If I Forget)

Discurled hair
covering flashed red eyes
these are the pictures I have of you
sketched into my mind.

Your smile was bright, wide,
and would dim the colours of days
your touch was soft and you would smile
to use it to your ways.

These are the things I know of you
their surplus lingers in my mind
but still you think I don’t remember
you think that I was blind.
I played the fool, I will admit
but you too did the same
so please forgive if I forget
something as trivial as your name.

They ran through you, pleading attention
and never thought about you twice
about what they were doing to you
or who would have to pay the price.

But still you smiled, that smile of yours
and tried to fake your way
but we both now it hurts you now
till this very day.

These are the things I know of you
the things I can’t rid from my mind
but still you think I don’t remember
so this is to remind.
I played the fool, I will admit
but you too did the same
so please forgive if I forget
something as trivial as the blame.
