Update – A Few New Items
Posted by Joshua on Jul.01, 2010, in the Site Updates section.
I made a few updates today…
Changes to site in public release (0.95 to 0.962):
Updated to WordPress platform 3.0.
Expanded the Lifestream feed to 20 entries, and changed the title.
Removed Facebook, iTunes, and Raptr feeds from Lifestream feed. Fixed a problem with Pandora’s feed.
Added a couple of pieces to the Paintings, Drawings, and Mixed Media Sections today. (Old stuff which I haven’t made time to scan and upload before now.)
The Music section has been made private for the time being.
Added some stuff to the Essays and Short Stories Sections.
Reorganized Links, and made their font size smaller in the footer of each page.
Added a text Navigation Menu to the footer of every page.
Updated FAQs Page, as well as copyright and licensing information for the site.
Cleaned up miscellaneous code concerning how comments display.
Fixed general page display settings
That’s all for now.
Update – New Sections (COMING SOON)
Posted by Joshua on Sep.09, 2009, in the Site Updates section.
LOL, you may have noticed a lot of place holders have popped up across the site in the past week. That’s because people have been stumbling across the partially opened site before I actually informed anyone it was open. That was a little unexpected. I didn’t think anyone had actually been visiting the site on a regular basis. A pleasant surprise for me I guess.
Changes to site since first public release (0.94 to 0.95):
Background changed.
Page width in site sections has been widened.
Livejournal and Hulu added to Lifestream (Facebook, iTunes, and Raptr problems continue).
New Music section added.
New Painting and Drawing sub-sections added to Visual Media section.
New Professional Photography site added (www.exiaphoto.com).
Update – The New Contemplicity.com
Posted by Joshua on Sep.01, 2009, in the Site Updates section.
After years of aging content and sparse updates, this site finally gets a proper update! Today marks the re-launch of Contemplicity.com with an entirely new interface, new content, and a new direction. While much of the old content is missing, I have tied several free and automated internet services into the new site to help keep things fresh. If there is something from the old site which you would like to see brought to the new site, please leave a comment requesting it.
